About the Event

Dr Stef will continue this monthly series of Islamic History in Europe and how this relates to our Muslim European Identity, by presenting us the history of the Ottomans In the Balkans. This is extremely important for us muslims to know. Why? Because the Presence of the Ottomans here have left a legacy of Muslim Countries In Europe.

This Era of Islamic History is important for us to know, because it has long lasting effects on us even today. A few of those were negative like the Break up of Yugoslavia nad the resaulting Genocide of the Muslims. However, there are positive ones as well, like the presence of trade between Turkey and countries like Bosnia and a visible Centuries Old Islamic Heritage in Europe

Dr Stef will begin with an open presentation of the subject, any one is able to ask questions in between.

Then after those 40 minutes and a small 15 minute break, the Dr will open the discussion fully, for you to ask and comment on what was said.
